About The Position

The Incentives Associate will provide support for our rapidly growing pipeline of energy efficiency projects. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of customer projects. The Incentives Associate will work closely with a variety of teams within the company to research energy efficiency incentive inquiries, determine incentive values to inform project pricing, execute project rebate applications, manage application timelines and metric tracking, manage Copy of Rebate Collect utility and state/federal professional relationships, and lend support to other rebate-related tasks when requested.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with LED lighting, HVAC, EV charging, and solar construction
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working with utility-based energy efficiency programs
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Ability to multi-task critical simultaneous projects
  • Prioritize deliverables with strict and independent deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience gathering and presenting team performance metrics
  • Organization and reporting on incentive metrics
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a relevant field such as business operations, project management, energy services, construction, energy installation
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Asana, and Adobe Acrobat preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete indicative studies and serve as primary point of contact for internal teams regarding project requirements and timelines associated with incentive applications
  • Provide estimates and process guidance on incentives and grants surrounding large, multi-technology projects
  • Support sales and strategy teams by providing expert research summaries of best programs available for new projects
  • Develop relationships with key utility and state/federal program administrators to foster strong communication to streamline comprehension of existing and changing programs
  • Support team success via creating documentation of standard operating procedures for new programs
  • Support existing team members on standard project tasks i.e. submitting and finalizing rebate applications, tracking task completions for success metrics, etc.
  • Manage active incentive applications with utility programs, communicate with project managers to drive speedy install timelines, guide internal decision-making with knowledge of program rules and guidelines, etc.
  • Conduct thorough research on incentive programs and act as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding project requirements and timelines associated with incentive applications.
  • Ensure accurate completion of incentive applications and coordinate pre- and post-installation inspections with program administrators at customer sites.
  • Apply for and maintain membership in lucrative incentive programs, including gathering necessary information for applications, attending required trainings, and managing program renewals.
  • Support market research efforts and lead meetings to summarize program dynamics for internal stakeholders, facilitating optimal utilization of available programs.
  • Provide training to new hires and existing team members on program operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key utility and program administrators
  • Other duties as assigned.
