General Responsibility: The Inbound Receiving Auditor will be responsible for inspection of inbound materials.

Requirements

  • Understanding of WIP / Receiving operations, with ability to work in compliance with procedures and instructions.
  • Computer proficient - able to use Microsoft Office programs, manage information within Databases, navigate SAP, WINDCHILL and PTC CREO for Print interpretation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to organize and prioritize individual work as required.
  • Professional interaction supporting cross-functional activities between departments.
  • Quality background, with understanding of quality methods, standards, and metrics (QMS, HQMS, DPPM, AQLs, etc.)
  • Proficient use of Measurement Devices: Calipers, Micrometers, and other necessary Gauges.
  • Overtime flexibility required when projects must meet critical timelines and/or due to production requirements.
  • Job could require frequent walking between warehouse locations and may require occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Components are validated and 100% accurate per specification.
  • Ensure all vendor guidelines / requirements are being followed. This includes labeling, specific packaging, palletization, dimensional tolerances, unit quantities etc.
  • Ensure Documentation is completed for all shipments inspected.
  • Maintain records of all Inspections performed - track vendor performance over time.
  • Create, analyze, and provide reports of inspection, audits, results, etc. to applicable management personnel.
  • Record and provide feedback of all non-conformances to the Quality Manager.
  • Audit duties will include in-process audits at Shed Pack as required - dependent on daily receipts.
  • Responsible for organizing/planning audit schedule based upon incoming shipments.
  • Perform other duties as needs dictate or change over time.
