Requirements

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with a focus on empathy, professional phone etiquette, and clear diction.
  • Comfort with technology including phone systems, email, documentation management systems, EHR systems

Responsibilities

  • Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls, taking messages, and handling voicemail inquiries.
  • Booking, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments
  • Collecting and updating demographic and insurance information, verifying patient eligibility, and registering new patients.
  • Processing referrals, preparing and scanning medical records, and performing data entry.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and other departments.
  • Other Duties as assigned
