Role Overview: As a Shipping Clerk, you'll help ensure every package that leaves our facility reflects our dedication to safety, precision, and excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (with pallet jack support up to 1000 lbs.)
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (standing, stooping, bending)
  • Organized, adaptable, and committed to quality
  • Valid driver’s license the ability to drive a box truck.
  • Attendance and able to work overtime and weekends in peak season

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
  • Prefer someone with advance equipment operational experience with forklift, reach truck, Electrical pallet Jack and other industrial equipment.
  • Workflow optimization skills understanding of SKU layout FIFO
  • Effective verbal communication and team collaboration skills
  • Operational efficiency and tech savvy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Post, pick and packing completing orders with accuracy and care.
  • Process shipments using UPS WorldShip or FedEx Manager software.
  • Ensure all orders are packaged, labeled, and handled correctly.
  • Use our WMS (QAD) to complete timely and accurate transactions.
  • Hi attention to identifying and resolving discrepancies with WMS.
  • Monitor and enter freight charges, then mark orders as shipped.
  • Stage and organize outgoing shipments for daily carrier pickups.
  • Interact professionally with drivers and support team communication.
  • Keep the shipping area neat, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on daily shipping priorities.
  • Support Inventory, warehouse, shipping and receiving department functions as needed.
  • Maintain adequate stock of materials and supplies full for the production floor.
  • Collaborating with team members to uphold our quality and safety standards.
  • Lead by example and embody Safecor Health’s Core Values of Care, Commitment, and Excellence in every aspect of your work.
  • Capable of driving a box truck.
