About The Position

In Room Dining and Event / Programming Set-up Attendants are responsible for delivery of orders to guest rooms, preparing orders for delivery, and setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. Attendants engage in casual conversation and enhance the experience by their authenticity and good communication skills. Other duties include general in room dining preparation, removal of serving trays, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Requirements

  • Open availability - must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Customer service and food handling experience preferred.
  • Related experience working in Hotels, Convention Centers, Warehouses, etc. is preferred
  • Good communication and comprehension skills
  • A true desire to server others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a moderate amount of weight on a consistent basis, up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and climb.
  • Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate a golf cart

Responsibilities

  • Review daily event orders, making note of VIPs, room set-up and special requests
  • Timely guest service and delivery of requested food and beverage.
  • Set-up and breakdown of the meeting and event rooms as outlined in the Event Order.
  • Maintain venue including vacuuming floors, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors.
  • Proper care, movement, storage of all equipment including tables, chairs, risers, dance floor, etc.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, trainings, and pre-shifts.
  • Adhere to grooming standards at all times.
  • Have a positive attitude and have the ability to work individually and as a team.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative spirit by supporting various Food and Beverage operations as needed, including restaurant service and banquet functions
  • Accept and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership, acknowledging that duties may evolve and are not limited to those listed.
