Answer the room service phone after no more than 3 rings Handle closing of guest transactions in room service, close out the register, and balance out cash for the shift as well as keeping cash funds secure at all times Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints Walk floors to complete tray pickups Use proper guidelines for taking and delivering orders Practice and observe all safety rules and regulations Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures Ability to accurately use various office software Other duties as assigned Requirements · Minimum lifting of 50 pounds. · Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. · Hearing, writing, typing. · Minimum pulling of 50 pounds. · Other duties may be assigned. · Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. · Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations. · Must have good mathematical and computer skills. · High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required. · Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates. · CPR training and first aid training preferred. · Additional language ability preferred.
