About The Position

The In Room Dining Attendant is responsible for setting up in-room dining food orders in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a food server in high volume and/or fine dining environments.
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to use hands and arms to push in room dining carts weighing up to 35lb at least 20 times per day
• The ability to lift hot boxes waist and chest high weighing up to 30lbs at least 20 times per day
• Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Restocking silverware, plates, linen, condiments and beverages
• Dressing tables, folding napkins, refilling ice buckets
• Clearing and cleaning tables and trays from guest rooms or hallways
• Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion
• Adheres to state liquor laws
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
