About The Position

The In Room Dining Assistant Manager assists in planning, organizing, and directing daily operations within the In‑Room Dining department while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and adherence to Four Seasons standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of Food & Beverage supervisor or Assistant Manager-level experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor management, and related operational procedures.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs.
  • US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the selection, training, evaluation, coaching, motivation, and discipline of all In‑Room Dining employees to ensure adherence to cultural and core standards.
  • Maintain a visible presence in daily operations, providing recognition, addressing guest concerns, and handling special requests with professionalism.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all food and beverage offerings, providing knowledgeable guidance on menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, wines, and spirits.
  • Collaborate closely with Hotel leadership, including the Senior Food & Beverage Manager and Culinary team, to design effective menus, amenities, and operational plans.
  • Manage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory/cash control.
  • Inspect In‑Room Dining facilities and equipment; recommend and support necessary improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with Four Seasons’ work rules, policies, and service standards.
  • Foster a harmonious, supportive, and professional work environment across all levels of the department.
  • Assist as needed in food delivery and operational area cleanliness.
