In-Person Tutor Needed – Elementary Level (Multi-Subject)
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and engaging in-person tutor to work with three elementary-level students at the Grand Traverse Public Library. The students can be tutored together at the same time in a small-group setting. Subjects Include Math Reading General elementary-level support Other basic multi-subject help as needed Schedule Details Tutoring sessions held twice per week 2 total hours per week Days and times can be coordinated based on availability Pay Details $18 per hour per student Tutor is paid for all three students during the session Work Environment Quiet, structured library setting Small group instruction In-person only
Requirements
- Experience tutoring or teaching elementary-age students
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Dependable and professional

- Background in education or tutoring preferred (but not required)
