About The Position

The In House Sales Manager is responsible for assisting sales representatives in closing deals and ensuring accurate documentation. This role involves managing the sales line to meet or exceed operating budget targets and Bluegreen’s minimum performance standards. Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and training sales representatives, as well as conducting sales presentations as needed. The manager will hold weekly training sessions, monitor team performance against metrics like VPG, sampler sales, referrals, and Medallia scores, and enforce accountability through disciplinary actions when necessary. The position also requires evaluating and guiding team members to maintain high performance, attending and conducting site meetings and training, providing refresher training for underperforming team members, and making final decisions on pricing, financing, and incentives to close sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales representatives in closing deals and ensure accurate preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Manage the sales line to meet or exceed operating budget targets and uphold Bluegreen’s minimum performance standards.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor sales representatives, providing coaching and training to help them succeed.
  • Step in to conduct sales presentations as needed to maintain smooth prospect flow.
  • Hold at least one weekly training session to enhance team skills, using curriculum approved by the Director of Sales.
  • Ensure team performance meets or exceeds standards for VPG, sampler sales, referrals, Medallia scores, and other key metrics.
  • Have necessary tough conversations and issue disciplinary actions when required to maintain team standards.
  • Evaluate and guide team members to maintain high performance and serve as exemplary representatives of HGV.
  • Attend and conduct site meetings and training sessions as directed.
  • Conduct refresher training for team members who fall below minimum performance standards.
  • Present pricing, financing, and incentives to prospective guests and make final decisions to close sales.
