The Opportunity BDS is looking for a dedicated In-house Copier Technician/Refurbishment Associate to join our thriving team. As an In-house Copier Technician/Refurbishment Associate you would be providing a service utilizing your electromechanical skills to help service the technicians in the field as well as refurbish copiers. To be successful in this position you should be a team player, highly organized, and have proficient computer skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with a solid driving record and vehicle insurance.
  • Reliable Vehicle
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work with a team and independently.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience preferred in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of copier/printer office equipment.
  • Industry knowledge of major copier and printer manufacturers such as Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, and/or Xerox preferred.
  • Networking knowledge preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written
  • Can-do Attitude and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Manage and repair office equipment on site at our warehouse
  • Extend outstanding support by meeting technicians’ needs on time.
  • Investigate and resolve advanced, high-level maintenance and repair issues.
  • Manage accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Assemble machines as per specifications with hand and power tools and measuring devices.
  • Run machines to test parts functionality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrations of office equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and identifying malfunctions as well as cause.
  • Establish relationships with service technicians
