POSITION PURPOSE: This role accelerates business value by being responsible for the overall quality and output of each refurbished merchandiser within refurb centers in plants, remote locations or separate warehouse area of an existing plant. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Conducting quality refurbishing under the supervisors lead. 2. Conform to all company, federal state, and local guidelines for quality, environmental, and safety standards. 3. Maintain and control and safeguard the inventory of all merchandiser refurbishment parts and supplies as well as he merchandisers themselves. 4. Work continuously to improve the refurbishment centers operations, utilization, and cost control. 5. Ensure standardized work processes are followed. 6. Conduct quality checks. 7. May assist plant merchandiser techs for service calls or preventive maintenance calls. 8. May assist the plant for service calls, maintenance, and box deliveries/pick ups. 9. May assist with loading and unloading boxes received and shipped out of the refurb centers as well as parts shipments coming in. 10. Coordinate with lead supervisor when new parts are received and signed for. Ensure the completed paperwork is completed. 11. Coordinate when boxes are received or shipped out with the lead supervisor and ensure the proper transfer paperwork is given to the lead Supervisor. 12. Responsible for wearing appropriate eye and hand protection when required. 13. Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned by the Supervisor. 14. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the refurbishment center itself as well as all tools, inventories, and any and all equipment and grounds surrounding the center. 15. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. 16. Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential.
