About The Position
American Residential Services (ARS) is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing over 7000 professionals and serving customers with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical solutions for over 45 years. This role, an Outside Sales Representative or Comfort Advisor, involves connecting customers with comfort through heating, cooling, and air quality upgrades or whole system replacements. The company provides installation crews for next-day service, multiple financing options, and strong guarantees. The ideal candidate has experience in Outside Sales, One-Call-Close, in a residential In-Home environment, with a preference for professionals from skilled trades backgrounds.
Requirements
- Sales experience required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication, consultative sales skills, and product presentation ability
Nice To Haves
- In-home sales or one-call-close experience preferred
- Experience in the Skilled Trades business model (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Pest Control, Lawn Care, Roofing, Air Conditioning, Siding, Windows, Solar, Counter Tops, Kitchen & Baths, Security)
