This specific role is a W-2, commission-based In-Home Sales Professional position focused on selling residential roofing and exterior solutions. The professional will meet homeowners through company-provided leads, conduct in-home consultations, and close projects. The role emphasizes a structured sales process, value explanation, and confident conversation about pricing and options, supported by pre-set, pre-qualified appointments, a proven sales playbook, and comprehensive training.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and access attic spaces
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and iOS tools
Nice To Haves
- In-home sales or high-ticket consultative sales experience
- Home improvement or construction sales experience (roofing not required)
Responsibilities
- Conduct multiple in-home inspections and consultations daily
- Diagnose homeowner needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Lead conversations about scope, pricing, and financing options with confidence
- Deliver clear, company-approved presentations that help homeowners understand value
- Guide customers through a structured consultation process from inspection to decision
- Complete contracts, financing paperwork, and documentation accurately
- Maintain a professional appearance, organized vehicle, and clean sales materials
- Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings to continuously improve
- Regularly engage in outside sales, requiring travel to customer locations
