Window World of Long Island provides premium products, professional installations, and honest pricing. Our Design Consultants conduct 2-3 in-home sales presentations per day with pre-qualified homeowners. We provide the qualified leads and a proven sales process—your success is direct correlation to your effort and skill. We have a beautiful showroom located on Hempstead Turnpike in Farmingdale where customers can come in to see the products and tour the space 6 days a week. Requirements

  • Sales, customer service or home improvement experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Communication/people skills with willingness to make consistent follow-up with customers.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and persistent.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a good work ethic.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to and from company-generated and pre-scheduled appointments at the customer’s home.
  • Build rapport with customers through active listening, a positive demeanor and attention to the home’s needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver custom quotes in the customer’s home.
  • Answer client questions about products, prices, installation process, financing availability/terms and close the sale on the first appointment.
  • Measure for products and process all contract documents for the sale, including a detailed scope of work and materials needed.
  • Work with customer service specialist to uphold the highest customer service standards.
  • Follow up on open opportunities to maximize close rates.
  • Willingness to grow your product knowledge with ongoing trainings.
