About The Position

Make a difference, touch a life! Rock House is seeking individual or family to provide care in a family setting for individual with developmental disabilities. This includes but is not limited to the following: Family atomosphere that supports individual and promotes healthy development Safe, comfortable home with separate bedroom for individual Provision for physical and emotional needs including school attendance and progress, attending to medical/dental needs, recreational enrichment, etc. Maintaining relationship with family/guardian of individual Collaborate with Rock House in service plan for individual

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED required
• Current TX driver's license or ability to obtain TX license within 30 days
• Background check and driving record check on all individuals residing in the home

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a family setting for individual with developmental disabilities
• Create a family atmosphere that supports individual and promotes healthy development
• Maintain a safe, comfortable home with separate bedroom for individual
• Provide for physical and emotional needs including school attendance and progress, attending to medical/dental needs, recreational enrichment, etc.
• Maintain relationship with family/guardian of individual
• Collaborate with Rock House in service plan for individual
