About The Position

We are seeking dynamic, talented, and results-driven Design Consultants who thrive in a fast-paced, high-earning sales environment. This is an in-home selling role, ideal for competitive professionals who excel at closing deals, exceeding goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Design Consultant, you will meet with homeowners in their homes, present flooring solutions using curated sample kits, and guide them through product options. You will manage the entire sales process from start to finish, building rapport, understanding customer needs, creating estimates, and closing deals during the visit. This role is designed for individuals energized by direct selling, confident in their closing abilities, and excited by uncapped commission potential. This is a 1099 - Direct Seller position, with motivated consultants earning an average of $150,000-$250,000 in their first year, and top performers earning over $300,000 annually.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in in-home or outside sales
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage your schedule and goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 lbs. and perform tasks such as climbing stairs
• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations, take measurements, and present solutions that can close the sale in one visit.
• Guide clients through provided flooring samples helping them make confident decisions.
• Present flexible financing options to simplify purchasing and finalize agreements.
• Hit sales targets by closing during the consultation while collaborating with the Express Flooring team to deliver an exceptional experience.
