In home caregiving FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F 8-4:30PM Position Summary Provide assistance to professional staff. Works with leadership and program staff in carrying out daily activities. Is involved in implementing/ facilitating program related processes. Effectively communicates with program team, participants, and other stakeholders relevant to the applicable program.
Requirements
- Current BLS and First Aid certification
- Must have current food handlers permit
- Minimum one (1) year experience in health care setting working with the elderly
Responsibilities
- Implements and facilitates group activities
- Provides bathroom, transfer, mealtime and ambulation assistance to all participants
- Assists with noontime meal preparation and clean up
- Communicates with team members, participants, rehab professionals and families
