Kore Cares is looking to hire part-time and full-time caregivers in the Scotland area for daytime shifts. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
- Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
- This position involves driving to clients' homes/apartments; this is a community based role. Employees are compensated for drive time between client locations. A valid drivers license and car insurance is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with activities of daily living that allow individuals the opportunity to stay in their home as long as possible, such as bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene
- Assist with ambulation and transfer of clients with or without adaptive equipment
- Remind clients to take medications
- Assist with housekeeping, transportation and errands
- Plan and prepare meals, assist with feeding and assist with kitchen clean up
- Provide socialization and companionship
- All other duties outlined in client care plan
