We are hiring part-time caregivers to help make a difference in the Pierre area! We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as caregivers. As a caregiver at Kore Cares, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs). Job Responsibilities: Caregivers provide essential services that allow clients to live their best lives at home. Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene Supporting ambulation and transfers with or without adaptive equipment Providing medication reminders Assisting with housekeeping, transportation, and errands Planning and preparing meals, feeding assistance, and kitchen clean-up Offering companionship and social support Following all tasks outlined in the client’s personalized care plan Location: Pierre, South Dakota

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English
  • This is a community-based role requiring travel to client homes
  • Valid driver’s license and current car insurance are required

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Supporting ambulation and transfers with or without adaptive equipment
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Assisting with housekeeping, transportation, and errands
  • Planning and preparing meals, feeding assistance, and kitchen clean-up
  • Offering companionship and social support
  • Following all tasks outlined in the client’s personalized care plan
