Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass: Written competency evaluation, Drug screen, Nationwide background check
  • Honest, dependable, energetic, and caring
  • A genuine passion for senior care and helping others

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Home Care Aide (HCA)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • No experience? We can help you become a Caregiver – we pay for your HCA training!

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene support
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal planning and meal preparation
  • Medication reminders (no medication administration)
  • Companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Helping with mobility, transfers, and walking
  • Providing safe, reliable home care in clients’ homes throughout Spokane County
  • Following the care plan and communicating any changes to the office team
  • Shifts and schedules vary, with days, evenings, overnights, and weekend Caregiver shifts available.
