About The Position

Fresh Perspective Home Care is hiring compassionate individuals for a flexible and rewarding part-time caregiver job in Portage, Michigan. The role involves supporting seniors throughout the Portage area, providing non-medical in-home care to help them remain safe and independent at home. The company offers training and support for individuals with or without prior experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), PCA, DSP, or CNA. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to uphold client confidentiality
Reliable and punctual
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Offering companionship and emotional support
Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
Driving or accompanying clients to errands, appointments, or community outings
