Caring Hands Home Health Inc. seek compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers (PCA, CNA, or IHA) to provide quality care and support to clients in their homes throughout Greensboro, High Point, Lexington, and surrounding Triad areas. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, or facility).
  • Must complete and pass a caregiver skills assessment before hired.
  • Caregivers must be able to communicate effectively in English for documentation, client safety, and coordination with office staff. Bilingual caregivers, especially those fluent in Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply as we proudly serve diverse clients and families.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely assist with transfers and mobility.
  • Must have a smartphone with internet access for clocking in/out, schedules, and care notes.
  • Must have reliable transportation to client homes (car preferred but not required).
  • Must pass a background check and NC Health Care Personnel Registry clearance (no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation).
  • Must have weekend availability — caregivers with flexible schedules are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Caring, patient, and dependable attitude.
  • Note: Applicants must be able to communicate directly with clients and staff without the use of an interpreter during interviews and while performing client care, to ensure safety and clear communication. Completion of training programs with Caring Hands or a partner does not guarantee employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
  • Safely support client mobility, including use of wheelchairs and other equipment.
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
  • Offer medication reminders (no administration).
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, and meal preparation.
  • Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
  • Accurately observe and report changes in client conditions to supervisor.
