Part-Time In-Home Caregiver
About The Position
Fresh Perspective Home Care is seeking compassionate individuals for a flexible and rewarding part-time caregiver position in Mattawan, Michigan. This role involves providing non-medical in-home care to seniors throughout the Mattawan area, supporting them to remain safe and independent at home. The agency welcomes applicants with or without prior experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), PCA, DSP, or CNA, providing necessary training and support to help them succeed. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to uphold client confidentiality
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Driving or accompanying clients to errands, appointments, or community outings
- Being a dependable, positive presence in their life
