The Improvement Leader partners with and develops leaders and team members to ensure on-time completion of improvement projects as well as delivers on expected results. By analyzing current practice operations through the lens of data and lean management—grounded in Toyota Production and High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles—they identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Applying rigorous Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) thinking, the Improvement Leader fosters breakthrough improvements that align with the business unit’s strategic goals. Additionally, they serve as a key facilitator in standardizing best practices across the practice operations network, utilizing proven change management methodologies to ensure sustainable excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading process improvement in a Lean enterprise or equivalent experience within IU Health.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.
