About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Import Operations Coordinator to support our Import Operations team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in logistics, supply chain, or international trade. You will receive hands‑on training while assisting with import documentation, delivery coordination, freight tracking, and system updates using CargoWise.
No prior import experience is required—we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in logistics, business, or supply chain is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Accurate data entry skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
• Strong communication and follow‑up skills
• Willingness to learn logistics systems such as CargoWise
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Review import documents and help identify key shipment details
• Assist with piece count reconciliation to ensure shipment accuracy
• Enter shipment information accurately into internal systems
• Look up and update Arrival Notice information
• Trace freight and assist in resolving delivery issues as needed
• Help maintain and clean CargoWise system filters
• Assist in preparing Delivery Orders and Delivery Instructions
• Request and compare quotes from truckers, warehouses, and service providers
• Learn how to identify the correct equipment needed for deliveries
• Support coordination of deliveries to ensure timely service
• Obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Assist with gathering delivery charges and help reconcile billing discrepancies
• Provide daily support to Import Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)
• Perform general administrative and operational tasks as needed
