Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately. Overview Ensure compliance with domestic government laws and regulations. Oversee the completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner. May negotiate with clients or handle issues with customs officials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage periodic process reviews for each Import coordinator/specialist
  • Provide responsible supervision and control for all the department activities in accordance with the regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within the department and maintain performance statistics
  • Address all employee performance matters promptly with the assistance of the Import Manager
  • Handle a large volume of shipments and workloads accurately and timely
  • Follow procedures and instructions and make suggestions to improve overall efficiencies
  • Follow up with all import shipments and workloads as needed, and as required by federal agencies and Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain spreadsheets and checklists
  • Perform other duties as assigned
