As our Implementation Specialist, you will play a critical role in bringing new clients and programs to life at Wellthy. Reporting to the Manager of Implementation, you will lead the onboarding and implementation of new employer clients while also supporting program expansions and enhancements for existing partners. This role sits at the center of many teams and requires strong project management, clear communication, and exceptional attention to detail. You will manage multiple implementations simultaneously in a fast-moving environment, guiding clients through discovery, translating their goals into actionable plans, and ensuring a seamless launch experience. You will report directly to the Implementation Manager, Client Success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of Implementation or Client Services experience.
  • You’re smart, thoughtful, and detail-oriented with a knack for project management.
  • You move fast and stay curious. You’re excited about using AI and new digital tools to accelerate your workflow.
  • You can translate client needs to internal stakeholders and complex concepts externally to clients, when appropriate. You are concise, persuasive, and proactive.
  • Mission-driven and passionate - This role is critical to ensuring that families gain access to Wellthy’s support quickly and seamlessly, helping employer partners deliver meaningful care benefits to their employees.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with eligibility files, benefit configuration, or data integrations is a plus.
  • Salesforce, Asana, Slack, GSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage multiple new client implementations, expansion of existing programs, and managing complex workstreams simultaneously. Ensure an exceptional client experience, measured through NPS
  • Create, execute, and adapt project plans in real-time. Maintain up-to-date project documentation and ensure all materials are organized and accessible.
  • Conduct kickoff and ongoing implementation meetings to review milestones, surface opportunities or challenges, and guide clients through discovery and solution design.
  • Serve as the central hub for implementation communication. Coordinate closely with Growth (sales handoff), Client Success (post-launch ownership), Care Operations (service delivery), Product (platform configuration), and Marketing/Comms (launch communications)..
  • Coordinate technical and operational setup. Manage key implementation activities such as eligibility file setup, system configuration, and benefit design details to ensure programs are launched accurately and efficiently.
  • Anticipate challenges early—whether technical issues, workflow bottlenecks, or client questions—and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them and keep projects moving forward.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational processes that enhance the client onboarding and expansion experience.
  • Support internal strategic initiatives. Contribute to projects that improve how Wellthy onboards new clients, expands programs, and communicates updates across teams.
