Our partner is a high-growth B2B software company that builds a product to help customers migrate, transform, and operationalize complex data workflows. The team is small, fast-moving, and deeply customer-driven, shipping product improvements based on real implementation learnings. This role is central to customer outcomes and product feedback loops. The company is hiring an Implementation Engineer to own customer implementations end-to-end and ensure customer success with the product. This involves building repeatable "playbooks" for data migrations, mapping customer schemas into the product’s primitives, troubleshooting edge cases, and collaborating with engineering to improve reliability and close feature gaps. This is a highly hands-on role that combines technical problem-solving with clear communication and customer ownership. It is a demanding position requiring quick action, handling ambiguity, and consistently delivering outcomes. For the right individual, it offers exceptional training for future leadership or founder paths, providing insights into customer dynamics, product feedback, and shipping solutions under constraints. The role is based onsite in New York, NY, with primary travel within NYC and potential occasional travel as customer needs evolve. Compensation is $110,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience and technical depth. Work authorization in the U.S. is required, with H-1B transfers supported.
