About The Position

This role plays a crucial part in facilitating the successful planning, coordination, and execution of implant procedures. This role acts as a liaison between the dentist, lab, implant representatives, oral surgeon & patients to ensure the highest standard of care is given The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency, required.
  • Minimum 3 years in a dental implant or oral surgery practice, with a focus on surgical coordination.
  • Deep understanding and control of inventory, inventory management, and cost basis within implant department including supporting JIT method within inventory management.
  • Full understanding of surgical guide treatment from patient consultation to execution.
  • Knowledge of the full scope of dental implants and full arch treatment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with surgeons, dental professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate implant procedures.
  • Schedule and organize implant surgeries, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and efficient workflow.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for patients undergoing implant procedures.
  • Provide clear and detailed pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of implant procedures, patient information, and communication.
  • Process and/and or oversee daily implant letters including Treatment Plan Letters, Release Letters, Intra Oral Scanning Process and proper distribution of supporting restorative Implant Replica & Impression Copings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols related to documentation.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for implant procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain approved inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient working environment.
  • Work closely with the surgical team, surgical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of implant procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment that prioritizes patient care and safety.
  • Implement and adhere to quality assurance protocols to ensure the highest standards of care in implant procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
