About The Position

Mi Familia Vota is seeking a passionate and experienced Immigration Organizer committed to building power with immigrant communities and communities of color and advancing racial and economic justice campaigns that create real change in our schools, neighborhoods, and civic life. The Immigration Organizer will focus on base-building, leadership development, and advocacy related to immigrant rights, education equity, and civic engagement. This role works directly with community members—many of whom are directly impacted by the immigration system—to develop leaders, mobilize collective action, and support campaigns that advance dignity, safety, and justice. The ideal candidate brings experience in grassroots organizing and community leadership development and is skilled at building authentic relationships across diverse communities. This person must be deeply committed to working alongside low-income and working-class families and leaders and have an understanding of the lived realities and organizing conditions within Latinx, immigrant, and other marginalized communities. We are seeking an Immigration Organizer who shares our progressive values and is excited to help build and strengthen member-led organizing efforts. This role supports community education, coalition-building, and campaign work while helping community members grow as leaders and advocates.
