About The Position

At WakeMed Health & Hospitals, we’re looking for a full-time Imaging Technology Assistant who’s eager to support our technologists and make a real impact in the lives of our patients. What You’ll Be Doing: As an Imaging Tech Assistant, you’ll be the go-to support for our imaging team. You’ll help set up equipment, prep rooms, assist with patient transport, and ensure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after procedures. You’ll also get hands-on training with imaging equipment, patient movement devices, and computer systems—so you’ll be learning and growing every day. Your Day-to-Day Will Include: Assisting technologists with patient care and exam prep Transporting and transferring patients safely and compassionately Prepping imaging rooms and equipment for upcoming procedures Learning to operate imaging support tools and technology Supporting clerical and technical tasks to keep the department running efficiently Who You Are: A team player with a heart for patient care Comfortable working in a fast-paced, clinical environment Eager to learn and grow in the imaging field Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever needed Why WakeMed? Requirements
- A team player with a heart for patient care

- Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever needed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3 Months Healthcare Preferred
