The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Radiology is seeking an Imaging Technologist with primary duties in CT to p erform and teach specialized CT procedures utilizing complex imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam . Work schedule is Weekend Option Saturday and Sunday 1 130-0000 Position Responsibilities: · Perform and teach specialized imaging procedures utilizing CT imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam. This includes independent operation with minimal physician supervision. · Perform CT procedures using a variety of complex imaging and patient monitoring equipment. · Has knowledge of and applies CT safety precautions to minimize or eliminate risks to patients, personnel and equipment. · Has knowledge and understanding of key Service Excellence principles for interaction with patients and staff. · Establish rapport with patient and provide information about how the exam is performed and what is required of the patient. · Maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public.
