The Imaging Technologist II performs all standard diagnostic x-ray procedure on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to include fluoroscopy, portable, surgical and routine exams. Must be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist. Must comply with OSHA standards and regulations involving potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens as well as ionizing radiation. This position requires cross training in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI or Mammography. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on his or her assigned department/unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the physiological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of the patient as related to age, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements, and to provide the care needed as described in ECRMC’s policies and procedures.
