Under the direction of departmental leadership, the Supervisor coordinates daily activities including staff scheduling, patient flow, and assignment of work, while monitoring performance to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives, maintaining compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations (including radiation safety standards, NCQA, and MQSA), and ensuring that equipment, procedures, and clinical practices meet established standards. The Diagnostic Imaging Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a full-service Diagnostic Imaging Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care across multiple imaging modalities. This role provides direct supervision of clinical and support staff and supports operational workflows across service lines including diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, MRI, and other specialized imaging procedures. The Supervisor plays a key role in monitoring staff performance, supporting training and development, addressing patient concerns, and assisting in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, patient experience, and clinical outcomes. This position serves as a critical liaison between staff and leadership, helping to align day-to-day operations with departmental and organizational goals. This role requires strong and broad imaging specialties knowledge in various modalities, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively supervise staff and manage operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a focus on safety, compliance, and quality care.
