About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Imaging Scheduler for our Non-Acute Pre Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Imaging Scheduler, you will: Monitor inbound fax and email traffic, following through with scheduling tasks such as booking various departments as needed Retrieve Voicemails from Live Vox three times a day Function as a Scheduler during lunches and staffing shortages Assist Benefits Specialist with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed for cases booked greater than 48 hours. prior to the appointment date and time. Assist Schedulers with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations for cases booked less than 48 hours. before the appointment date and time. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two years of Medical Scheduling, Insurance Coverage and Benefits or Patient Access experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills, proven ability to communicate with others positively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus
  • Imaging Scheduling experience preferred
