About The Position

This position assists imaging techs with transporting patients to and from Radiology department, and assisting the imaging techs with tasks. It is full-time, days, 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in healthcare setting.
• BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

• Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program preferred
• One year of patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and clerical assistance in imaging to include: patient flow activities, patient screening, assisting patients, maintaining supply, and assisting technologists as needed.
• Ensures that established protocols and techniques appropriate to age specific needs are utilized for adult and geriatric population.
