Southwest Central Georgia Region: Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital, Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Piedmont Henry Hospital and I-85 / I-75 south corridor The successful candidate will be based out of the location in the above region that is most convenient. JOB PURPOSE: This position is a customer-service oriented individual who provides frontline support for radiologists, technologists, and imaging operations. This role facilitates timely resolution of imaging-related issues, rounds regularly at assigned hospitals, and serves as the first point of contact for imaging technology support (e.g. PACS, Epic, Powerscribe), including remote and after-hours support by phone, and may include remotely accessing devices to identify and resolve issues. Specialist(s) require a thorough understanding of the workflow processes and relationships between ancillary systems and RIS/PACS. This position includes the assurance of proper staff training, daily data and system maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster planning. #LI-POST #GD

Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Three (3) or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in imaging or information systems department(s).
  • None.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of imaging technology and information systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay current with advancements in the imaging technology field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • IT and/or technical expertise in PACS system(s) preferred
  • Experience in imaging software and report writing are preferred.
  • Extensive training with medical IS applications.
