About The Position

Details Department: Radiology/MRI Schedule: Rotating, PRN, includes weekend and holiday rotation. Will work with student on hours during the week. Hospital: Columbia St. Mary's - Ozaukee Location: Mequon, WI Must be a current Radiology student interested in MRI. Responsibilities Provide services to patients under the direct supervision Prepare and position patients and selects exposure factors accurately. Implement radiation protection and safety standards. Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department. Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
