The Position: Imaging Director Employment status: Full-Time Hours per two-week pay period: 80 hours Position Summary: Sidney Health Center is seeking an Imaging Director to join our I CARE team in the Radiology setting. Essential duties of the position include directing daily operations of imaging services, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies including state and federal standards, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. The Radiology team is critical to providing imaging services that prioritize patient safety, dignity, comfort and privacy, maintaining strong collaboration with physicians, nurses and other care teams to coordinate patient care, and delivering imaging services to meet the needs of the community, including extended or flexible service availability. Requirements

  • Progressive leadership experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of imaging modalities, regulatory requirements, and patient safety and quality standards
  • Strong operational leadership, staff management, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Associate or bachelors degree in radiologic technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Nursing or related healthcare field required.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), equivalent modality certification.
  • Current MT license as required in related healthcare field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospital-based imaging operations preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Advanced certifications in imaging modalities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of all diagnostic imaging services
  • Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance
  • Oversee department staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Manage budgeting, capital planning, and equipment lifecycle
  • Directing daily operations of imaging services
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies including state and federal standards
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize patient safety, dignity, comfort and privacy
  • Maintaining strong collaboration with physicians, nurses and other care teams to coordinate patient care
  • Delivering imaging services to meet the needs of the community, including extended or flexible service availability
