About The Position

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an Imagery Scientist (LIDAR) - to join our team in Springfield, VA. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate; Collect process data and perform data analysis. Integrate centralized protect and maintain data in DBMS. Clean massage and organized data. Perform ad hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner. Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner using storytelling/visualization. Create/deploy/maintain cloud applications to support migration of data and production processes Create/deploy/maintain tools to extract features data and meta-data from a variety of sources, including Raster to vector-to-vector text to vector and text database. Write/maintain Python scripts in Arc GIS to improve efficiency of the production process. Support Business Processing Re-engineering. Perform Data Conversion/migration Perform Business Analytics.

Requirements

• Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
• BS in image science, remote sensing, earth science, etc
• 3+ years processing & exploiting LIDAR data
• ArcGIS, QTModeler, ENVI
• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Amazon C2S, PKIs
• Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of their applications, implications, and integration into daily geospatial and intelligence workflows
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance
