Image & EFT Dispute Processor

About The Position

The Image & EFT Dispute Processor is responsible for operating document and check imaging equipment and software to create and maintain electronic records for processing and archival purposes. This role also serves as a backup to the Dispute Processor, assisting in the investigation and resolution of debit card disputes and performing related settlement functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Working Microsoft application knowledge and computer operations experience
Ability to multi-task
Excellent data-entry skill
Excellent attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
General understanding of record retention
Awareness of banking laws and regulations

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of Core Processing system preferred.

Responsibilities

Balance checks and teller documents
Transmit posting files to the Core processor
Assist with physical document retention, storage and destruction
Process Canadian checks
Process Lockbox
Verify quality of digital images
Other administrative duties as assigned
Act as backup for Dispute Processor
Manage and process all debit card disputes, including branch entry and digital banking disputes
Conduct thorough research on each dispute and communicate with appropriate staff or departments as needed
Submit applicable disputes to the card processor for investigation
Monitor ongoing disputes and take appropriate actions to ensure timely resolution
Post daily settlement entries to the appropriate general ledger accounts
Perform other dispute related duties as assigned
