Our ILS Instructors work one-on-one with people with developmental disabilities to empower clients to reach their personal goals of independence and community participation. The role involves teaching independent living skills in a motivating, personalized, and professional environment. Instructors manage a caseload of around 3-6 clients across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in social work, social services, mental health, or case management for individuals passionate about making a difference in others' lives and who are both effective teachers and open to learning.
