About The Position

The Illinois Project Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities for the project management of solar photovoltaic projects developed by ForeFront Power. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing contract and document management, accounting, and technical support, and a variety of administrative support duties for the Behind-the-Meter and Community Solar project development and sales team. This is an hourly, part-time, temporary position not eligible for benefits working approximately 20 hours/week.

  • No prior experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Capability to document and report project status accurately
  • Motivated self-starter, good team player and ability to lead by example
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry; solar PV project development and/or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders and work orders for subcontractors and provide accounts payable-related support as needed.
  • Manage document control for projects including reports, plans, specifications, requests for information, and submittals.
  • Coordinate and support the interrelated activities of the Sales, Project Finance, Legal, Project Development, Design and Engineering, and Asset Management.
  • Utilize the company’s designated accounting platform to manage project accounting and cost control.
  • Submit and manage utility interconnection pre-applications and application and coordinate financial security obligations.
  • Assist with mailers to landowners in various states with ongoing community solar and battery storage land campaigns.
  • Generate marketing list targets for IL BTM and FTM solar and storage opportunities.
