About The Position

The Immunoglobulin (Ig) business plays a critical role in improving the lives of patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, neurological disorders, and other rare diseases. With a focus on specialty care and infusion pharmacy, the Ig portfolio delivers life-saving therapies that require strategic oversight and innovation. The Field Force (FF) Operations Manager will be a key member of the Ig organization responsible for providing operational support to optimize FF execution. This individual will be responsible for the coordination of all operational requests originating from the Ig Business Lead, RBDs, ABMs, Key Account Managers and Headquarters personnel. This individual will work directly with Sales, Marketing, Payer Marketing and Sales Strategy/Commercial Planning to identify data-driven strategic recommendations to maximize business opportunities based upon brand and/or customer insights and help develop priorities for opportunities for Ig.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in US pharmaceutical sales and/or portfolio strategic and/or commercial excellence roles with demonstrated success working collaboratively across different parts of the organization
  • Strong project and time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (PPT, Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detailed orientated
  • Advanced Operations Management: to help create a day-to-day operating environment that is effective, predictable and easy for BU colleagues and others to navigate
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Ig lead on Specialty Care BU projects by creating and managing plans to achieve objectives, overseeing implementation, and anticipating key salesforce issues and opportunities.
  • Facilitate definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and manage pilots for new operational models or tools prior to full-scale rollout.
  • Prepare strategic summaries and recommendations for leadership based on insights.
  • Operate independently in ambiguous situations, leveraging expertise to achieve desired results.
  • Lead Ig Business Operations and drive field force effectiveness; partner with Commercial Excellence to embed best practices and elevate field force capabilities
  • Organize and manage operational and enablement support across Ig functions, including onboarding/offboarding, training, and compliance;
  • Manage support requests from Regional Business Directors and other stakeholders.
  • Perform Quality Assurance on new releases to ensure business needs are met (e.g., Pfizer Align, Ariba, T\&E, Workday).
  • Coordinate with Leadership and cross-functional teams (Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales, Account Management) to execute the annual Operating Plan process, address training needs, and ensure compliance.
  • Utilize analytical and financial expertise to manage operational budgets, evaluate financial opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
  • Lead planning and execution of key deliverables for all internal meetings, conferences, congresses, and awards trips.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Share lessons learned, methodologies, and insights to enhance field force enablement.
  • Serve as liaison between field force, marketing, medical, and operations to ensure alignment and pull-through on strategic priorities and BU tactical plans.
  • Act as communication lead to the field to ensure aligned and effective execution.
  • Support Ig communications to ensure field force perspectives are considered and incorporated.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop impactful deliverables and engaging presentations for internal meetings and town halls.
