About The Position

As an IFS ERP Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the organization. This role ensures the effective operation, security, and optimization of the IFS ERP environment, supporting business processes and the needs of various departments. The administrator acts as a primary technical resource for ERP-related issues and collaborates with IT, business analysts, and end-users to solve problems and enhance system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience administering IFS ERP systems or similar enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts, business processes, and system integration.
  • Experience with database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and scripting is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security.
  • At least 7 years of ERP administration experience, preferably IFS.

Nice To Haves

  • IFS certification or formal training preferred.
  • Experience with ERP migrations, system integrations, or digital transformation projects is ideal.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and business intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the IFS ERP system and related databases to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system errors in a timely manner.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with security protocols and company policies.
  • Coordinate and implement ERP upgrades, new module implementations, patches, and new releases, including testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement process improvements within the ERP system.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing questions and enhancing user adoption.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration settings, policies, procedures, and user guides.
  • Manage integration with other business systems and develop custom reports.
  • Work with vendors and external consultants for advanced troubleshooting and customization needs.
  • Monitor data integrity, perform regular system backups, and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
  • Stay up to date with IFS ERP developments, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
