In this role, you’ll support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in real workplaces throughout the Portland metro area —helping them learn skills, build confidence, and succeed on the job. In this role, you’ll: Provide coverage at different job sites across the Portland area Work with a variety of individuals and employers Adapt quickly to new environments Perfect for someone who likes a dynamic, on-the-go workday.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel locally between job sites
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Comfortable with light physical activity (walking, standing, etc.)
• Are dependable, patient, and positive
• Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Are comfortable working independently in community settings
• Are open to learning and applying new skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in IDD, human services, or education is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals at their workplace
• Teach and reinforce job skills and workplace expectations
• Support communication between the individual and their employer
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy
• Help individuals build positive relationships with coworkers
• Track and document progress
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure long-term success
• Provide coverage at different job sites across the Portland area
• Work with a variety of individuals and employers
• Adapt quickly to new environments
