Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Nurse to join our nutritional support team as Coordinator, Nutritional Support. In this role, you will work with acutely, chronically, and critically ill patients who require specialized nutritional care — including enteral and parenteral therapy — and help coordinate and manage nutritional support services across our care settings.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in nursing.
Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, of which one year must be in IV therapy and one year in an intensive care unit.
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.

Responsibilities

Assesses chronically, acutely and critically ill patients who have some degree of malnutrition.
Participates in planning and implementing nutritional support therapies, tube feedings and the intravenous administration of nutrients.
Oversees nursing care of patients receiving parenteral and enteral nutritional support and ensures adherence to nutritional support guidelines.
Monitors patient response to therapy and evaluates the effectiveness of the nutritional support care plans.
Serves as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients and family members.
