About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our DISA Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Production Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) program. This position is full-time remote position. As a Solutions Architect, for both the unclassified and classified environments, you will be responsible for providing business, technical, architectural, and engineering guidance to development teams, business groups, and customers for existing and new products and services, as well as directing day-to-day activities assigned to your areas of responsibility, leveraging direct and indirect team resources for the ICAM solution. The Solutions Architect also develops strategies, business concepts, and technical capabilities in conjunction with the Solutions Architect to maximize customer value and differentiate GDIT from its competitors in the marketplace. This will include technical plans, drawings, white papers, and leading technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will be relied upon to provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the full lifecycle of products and services. You may also be required to collaboratively conduct analysis of alternatives with the solutions architect on a variety of solutions to determine the best solutions to support overall business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum active DoD Security Clearance of SECRET, or higher
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification, or higher
  • Active Computing Environmental certification (CE) in job-related duties such as Microsoft Cloud, AWS Cloud, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform Solution Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) will consider other combinations of education, certifications, and years of experience
  • 15+ years of IT experience in IAM Engineering and development
  • 8+ years of experience in project management/ lead architect positions in Microsoft and/or other software development or implementation
  • Extensive experience with implementing PKI and PIV standards
  • Extensive experience in creating architecture solutions for cloud environments
  • Experience with SailPoint, Radiant Logic, Microsoft, CyberArk
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Remote (must reside in the CONUS)

  • Skills: Architectural Design, Design, IT Architecture, Leadership, Teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior leadership, both internal and external, on planning and executing tasks using Agile methodologies
  • Actively participate in Scrum meetings.
  • Active engagement with the program customer, providing expert guidance and solutions
  • Develop plans, drawings, and briefs
  • Supporting the business by developing technical and business solutions
  • Identifying solutions based on business and technical criteria, analyzing alternatives based on trade space, and implementing designs
  • Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies and propose changes and tailoring where needed
  • Assess the system and business process architectures currently in place and work with staff to recommend improvements
  • Ensure technical architecture teams deliver efficient and effective system solutions to support business goals and objectives
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain established service design procedures and processes by applying process frameworks and methodologies
  • Prepare and present test plans, technical presentations, and analyst briefings
  • Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and conduct product recommendations related to software, platform, and network configurations
  • Provide updates to internal and external stakeholders on project cost, schedule, and quality in comparison to stakeholder objectives
  • Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues
  • May serve as a task or project leader (Not a people manager)
