About The Position

The primary duties of the IT Systems Engineer involve providing support on all company technology applications and hardware supported by the Information Technology department. This includes administration of the network, servers, storage and backup infrastructures.

Requirements

• College degree preferred, not required. Five years related experience and/or training/certifications; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, build and implement networks and servers in a Windows/Office 365 Domain.
• Configure and support Hyper-V and VMware infrastructure.
• Manage network infrastructure consisting of Fortinet, Ubiquiti and Cisco devices.
• Administer storage infrastructure consisting of Dell solutions.
• Maintain daily backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Perform daily monitoring of company infrastructure.
• Daily resolution of tickets and issues sent to the IT Operations Team.
• Develop, maintain, and contribute to procedures documentation.
• Assist Applications Team with UNIX, SQL and Java based applications.
• Participate in on-call schedule. Must be willing to work hours in excess of the normal working hour schedule and be available for call-in problems as required.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
